The dvd.emu software has been developed especially for DVD authoring studios, in order to check intermediate results while authoring, and to make quality checks before DVD ­mastering. With the suggested hardware, the dvd.emu features a high quality video output.

A configurable GUI adapts to the needs of the user.

Hardware/Software

Usually dvd.emu is offered in two hardware versions: practical and small as a portable Shuttle PC system, or as a no-noise version in a Hush-PC. The system requirements are:

  • a Windows-XP based PC with at least 2.8 GHz and 512 MB RAM
  • a Matrox G550 DH graphics adapter
  • sound hardware with digital output
  • DirectX 9
  • Sonic MPEGPack v1.51
  • REALmagic XCard (optional)
